Your role

(Senior) Software Engineer you will deliver new secure applications for a variety of product variants. You will be responsible for design and development of new applications, enhancing existing applications, solving problems, and resolving defects. The Engineer will review requirements, develop the architecture and design of features (including the relevant documentation), develop application prototypes, participate in design and code reviews, and write code (including unit tests). The candidate must be able to become proficient in new task domains quickly, demonstrate technical excellence in his/her personal work as well as contribute to the team’s continued success by sharing technical knowledge. An ideal candidate should have the open mindset, be flexible, focused on quality and open to switching to different projects.   • Design and implementation of new requirements in existing EasyLobby® products
  • Review and maintain existing code base including bug fixing and/or refactoring
  • Coordinate the work with other members of the Scrum team
  • Support in the design and development of desktop and web engineering tools
  • Develop test fixtures in Object-Oriented language
  • Maintain SQL database changes
  • Participate in Continuous Integration process
Desired Skills & Experience  
  • At least 4 years of hands-on code development
  • Applied experience with .NET (desktop and/or web-based applications in C#/VB.NET)
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g. Jira)
  • General knowledge of test frameworks and automated build systems (e.g. Jenkins, NUnit, TestStack/White, PowerShell, WMware)
  • Ability to complete design related tasks with minimal supervision
  • Experience with rational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Microsoft Access, etc.)
  • Experience with Agile Scrum development a plus
  • Knowledge of OOD, SOLID principles
  • Previous experience integrating Windows-based applications with peripheral devices a plus
  • Previous experience building applications with Visual Basic 6 a plus
