Who You are?
You are a skilled developer, and you are dedicated to being part of a team delivering high quality software. You do this by sharing our belief in the agile values, by being motivated, focused, taking initiatives, and eager to learn.
Test driven development, continuous integration, design discussions, refactoring and pair programming is a natural part of your work. Development tasks could include anything from frontend web design to writing database upgrade scripts and server backend code. As part of the team you do what needs to be done for a successful release, including investigating reported bugs, writing documentation, taking part in pre-release testing, and doing performance measurements.
Having mentioned all the above, you are now ready to take part in exciting transition project to transfer existing solution to Kraków and later further develop it.
As part of the knowledge transfer you will travel to one of our European location and cooperate with employees to prepare the project for a transfer. And this will include as-is analysis of existing documentation, architecture design and code quality. Once the transition is successfully finished, you will continue as a development team member to further develop the solution by improving, adding new features.
During the whole journey, you will cooperate with Project Lead who will make sure priorities are set, and all obstacles removed. All this to make the transition project as well as further development successful.
A challenging and interesting aspect of the solution is that you will be using hardware (e.g. electronic keys and locks) in cooperation with the software.
Our client work in a global environment so you need to be proficient in English, both written and spoken.
In this position, you may expect intial need of frequent travelling to one of the Europen city, follwed by occasional travelling to our other sites.
The position will report to Product Innovation Manager in Krakow.
You feel confident in most of the Microsoft stack technologies, tools and practices currently in use including:
• C#, .Net 4.5 framework, XAML, WCF, WinForms and multithreading,
• Windows Services, IIS,
• Web Services (SOAP, REST),
• Database engines (MS SQL Server).

• Telerik Reporting,
• Amazon Web Services,
• Visual Studio, Git, TeamCity, JIRA, NUnit,
• TDD, Pair programming, Continuous integration, Refactoring, Domain-Driven Design, Collective code ownership, Coding standards,
